I gotta give it to Midnite Vultures though. Everything about that record is damn near perfect. But my favorite beck song is on mellow gold - blackhole. Dude, yes! Blackhole is my fav on there too (aside from soul suckin jerk & pay no mind) :D good weird beck vibes! So hard to pick a favorite off that one really. Steal My Body Home is also another beauty. I'm not a huge huge fan of beck's really early work - it's good but it wouldn't have substantially impacted my musical listening adventures. Beck puts on a hell of a live show as well. Got to see him twice on Midnite Vultures once in a smaller venue, and then at Reading that year (I think it was Reading, might have been glastonbury) - both shows were mental. I was thinking that even though he's been around for ages, Prince is up there. I mean goddamn. Prince. Here's Miles Davis talking bout prince (it's like a minute, watch it, definitely worth) Edit: on second thoughts I guess he really doesn't qualify for "modern". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BxRYIoKMJU Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide all signatures 백호야~~~항상에 사랑할거예요.나의 아들.
