I just got Trans Canada Highway in my mail box

Just got the blues mate, no worries though, I'm not pulling out the razors!

"They're about guns, lasers, robots with laser guns in space. Monsters from the future. Explosions. Sylvester Stallone doing a backflip on top of a spike while Robocop carries a ghost up a mountain. Bombs and swords and that... IDM is awesome."

I'm thinking mine will be on the doormat when I get in from work today. Gonna chip off early and get in before my flatmates, light some candles, get out the lube and make sweet love to the sounds of new BoC, just the way they meant it to be.

Seriously, all I got was the promised sticker but only ONE copy of the DVD even though I ordered both the vinyl and the CD!

Off to send an email...

heh - I ordered both formats and got 2 DVDs. I'd make it a stern email.

I mean, don't they know how they is fuckin with???

Like I said, they offered to send another - WARP is always nice like that.

okay, i got the vinyl+cd today ... is anyone else's 12" sort of weak, sound-quality-wise? the high-end sounds fucked up in some way. and also, maybe i'm going insane, but i swear that 'left side drive' is like a few bpm too slow, on the vinyl (every other track sounds fine, and i tripled-checked the turntable itself); did anyone else notice this? i'm perfectly willing to agree that i'm insane

also warp only included one copy of the dvd, even though i ordered both; sigh. it was nice to see dayvan on a huge tv, though

I wouldn't say the sound quality is weak... There is a fair amount of noise on this vinyl pressing though; particularily in the right channel. Makes the quieter bits a little different, and the remix almost unlistenable in my opinion. This could be attributable to the fact that it is a coloured vinyl which is manufactured using cheaper materials... But I am suprised how poor this pressing is... Not since the triple brown vinyl of SAW II has a warp pressing been this noisy...

yeah there's sort of a high-pitched background buzzing ... ah well

Yep, especially noticable on 'Heard From Telegraph Lines' unfortunately...

I can confirm the vinyl pressing is fucking awful. People who buy vinyl want 180g, well mastered stuff not pretty colours.

guys I preordered and they haven't sent me anything yet. i sent them an email and they said it was on its way but i don't know i don't know.
