threw together some pasta with homemade sauce

garlic, some ginger, red pepper, diced tomatoes, salt & pepper, with some butter, garnished with parmesan and toasted pine nuts

and some pasta that's like sour straws with the hole through the middle

no idea what it is

There will be new love from the ashes of us.

I had that beef bibimbap in a hot pot that people were raving about on watmm not too long ago. With Sapporo to drink. It was extravagant for the senses. Crispy rice at the bottom was oh so right. Righteous.

I did lamb shanks in my slow cooker. Browned them in a frying pan covered in salt and pepper and stuffed with garlic. Transferred them to the slow cooker and deglazed the pan with red wine and reduced it.

Added the reduction to the slow cooker along with half a pint of stock and a bunch of rosemary.

Cooked for 7-8 hours and served with rocket salad and rumbledethumps.
