Since I turned 30 a month ago I need to have both options available. So I'm both 20-30 and 30-40. It depends really. Hard times.

I think a documentary, "Turning 40 on WATMM" would be appropriately depressing and humorous.

There will be new love from the ashes of us.

Stoked to watch OA II. The movement thing never bothered me, anyone familiar with Druidic studies will recognize the importance of movement to get to higher planes.

At the Planet Mu party, the only people older than me were on stage.

Came here when I was 17, my first post was of a guy's ass in a Suicide Girls thread or something like that. Now I'm 29 and only post in the fwp thread

I'm 28, but turn 29 this summer. Joined when i just turned 21. That's the year I finally got high speed out in my neck of the woods. Had to build a tower in the clearing behind my house to get it. I lurked for a while before that.

Looks like I just barely fall under the 30-40 majority, being at the lower end.

To keep it real and analog, I'm gonna start posting to WATMM by writing my posts in fountain pen on hemp paper, putting them in bottles, and throwing them into the ocean.

Guest wyvern

If you are 6 months or less before your 21st birthday, you should choose 20-30, else choose 10-20.

But technically speaking, 10-20 and 20-30 are age ranges. Unless you are 20 on the same day of this poll, then you can dedicate the latter half of the day to the 20-30 range.

It's kind of amazing to me one can go from 21 to 29 in the time span of 2007 - today. 2007 seems so recent

Do you old timers have any life advice for the children?

Seriously though, and this conundrum has existed since the dawn of civilization and probably always will: the younger generation too often arrogantly refuses or just simply fails to recognize good advice from the older generation with regards to life, love, happiness, prosperity and overall well-being. Elders know how to solve the problems that happen in their day-to-day lives, with lots of real-world experience to draw upon. They know how to foresee problems on the horizon and take precautionary measures in advance, but virtually any time these skills are used to try and help young people, youth respond with contempt, disregard, and then turn right around and do the exact opposite of the advice given. These days, bad life choices carry much larger and longer-lasting consequences than in previous generations, and they cost significantly more time and effort to mitigate than at any other point in history.

And yes, youth must make their own mistakes and learn their own way in life, to a great extent, but it is certainly not cheating or shameful to improve one's life situation by taking (free) advice from another who has already "been there done that" ad-nauseam and lived to tell the tale.

Kids: if you think life is rough now (or if you don't) just know that it will, for a period of time, get MUCH worse for you and you'll face challenges and emotions you can't even fathom now. Just please know that there are many millions of people out there that genuinely want you to prosper in life and are willing to help you soften the impact, if only you would accept the help!

This poll discriminates against 9 year olds.

I get the award for youngest member so far I guess, at 18.

It's surprising that 50% are in 30-40. Do you old timers have any life advice for the children?

Im not surprised, a lot of people on here grew up in the 90's and have been listening to the featured artists since their inception. I was born in '94 making me 21

Alternatively, it may get much better.

No argument here, and I hope it does for everyone! I should have used the word 'may' or 'probably' instead of 'will'. However, I follow the philosophy "Expect the best, but prepare for the worst" and it has served me quite well in my 36 years.
