I downloaded a torrent of every track Richard D James has ever recorded, after seeing the 'Come To Daddy' video on YouTube and listened to all of them in order. I even listened toSAW 85-92, Windowlicker and I Care Because You Do twice and can quite categorically state that with this new EP, AFX has released his Tin Machine II. He has jumped the shark. He is worse than David Guetta and Fat Boy Slim combined and should be taken outside and shot without blindfold or cigarette immediately for his crimes against modernism. tbh I only got one track into it and had to stop. tr; dl. yeah, was kinda thinking that as well. pushing out tracks without no direct intention for a proper release seems to be a sc thing. this is more some sort of promo for a next proper release, im thinking.

 

hey, well if that asshole on reddit with "inside information" was correct, then that's likely the case. He did say there might be another EP with material sort of like orphaned, maybe by the end of the year?(mabye I'm misremembering) Maybe it's going to be an orphaned deejay EP series.

good to know! Aphex twin twitter account = most quality per tweet of any twitter account i've encountered

in higher quality sounds much more like a Syro track than an orphan deejay track. Really nice chopped up breakwork
