I never got my tape actually.

I thought I did (I think I even posted that I had received it, somewhere) but when I opened the package it was Face Culler's "Lostlands" cassette, not this one.

Not sure what happened to this one =(

I did receive my tape quite a few weeks ago. I have tried to play it, but it sounds waaaay slowed down. I'm not sure if it's the tape itself, or the fact that my cassette deck hasn't been used in about a decade. I haven't managed to get my mitts on another cassette deck to check yet.

Yeah contact caoutchou. If everything goes south I have a few spare copies!

looks like i paid 4 euros with no shipping charge, think i might have accidentally just bought the digital album.

Late to the party. Holy shit can this guy make music though.

I'm going to be a good boy and release another digital EP in a week or so. I had an open house week with friends during the hottest summer period when we had BBQ veggies, drank a lot of beer and played with synths, and an EP emerged as a bonus item in the end.

That one is from another set of tracks (made with a friend) that I might compile into something if there's a good flow.

The tracks on the EP don't have other people on it, we were all busy doing our own things in different parts of the house,

occassionally coming together when someone had something cool to show - like Doc's dark synth line in the track you posted :)

Is Rolando Simmons a collaborative effort, or is it just you? I get that Magic Crystal is just you, but are you saying that you got other people working with you on Volumes and the Rolando Simmons EP? Basically, what is/are the alias(es) you operate under? and who are you also making music with?My bad, I'm a bit confused still as I just discovered your stuff, which, regardless of how many people are involved, sounds fucking awesome.

Rolando Simmons is me and my brother, but his involvement is sporadic as he is busy building motorbikes most of the time. He was involved in some of the tracks on Volumes and some more recent unfinished ones. Other friends regularly come over to play with synths and record stuff but that's a more laid back sort of thing. Sometimes good music comes out of it though, and if it does, I edit the material into tracks.

how many remixes from the soundcloud invite thing will be included? i think i saw that the selections will be made around the end of the month. can't wait. i put one in and am trying not to be a dork about it :) either way, it was really fun for me. so there's that.

It's amazing for me to hear everything people have done. If it were up to me I'd include every single track, but I'm going to give my opinion and put forth at least a bunch of tracks and then let the label decide.
