Encoding a piece of music a thousand times over

How did you encode it that many times, did you use a script or something? Cool though, might use this technique for breaks or some background textures.

I wonder if this was done to get the ridiculously loud distortion at the end of NIN's No You Don't. The way it distorts is very similar, and it's a very unique sounding distortion.
