Apple Releases New iPod Touch Models

iPod Classic was discontinued bc parts became too difficult to obtain, so now they're collector's items basically.

I have an 16gb ipod nano that I have duct taped to my center console of my car, it wills stay there until the new Photodementia tracks drop, It last left to receive Syro.

400$ for a fucking MP3 Player, come on now Apple.

Appreciate content; not potential for quantity! There is absolutely no reason to need several hundred hours of tv/movies, several thousand hours of music, and several dozen games at our fingertips. We can do it- and we do do it- but all it does is dilute appreciation.

For these reasons- back in the day- those few tapes/CDs that you could take with you when going out, was some of the best music you ever experienced in your life. A harsh limit was put on your portable music listening variety, but the most important result of this was: You listened to the same music over and over and over, because you loved it.

One of the few things I got as a child/teen, and the reason why I never modded my PS2 to play pirated games back in the day. God knows I wouldn't have put 200 hours on Dragon Quest otherwise

Delet, if you're still selectively choosing music for a day of listening, good for you. Most people don't do that shit and prefer to have encyclopedias of entertainment at their fingertips.

Much like eating food as a child-- we learn to love what we're given, not what we think we like. Limitations are divine and where true unlimited vision and emotion can be experienced. This is also why the best sexual fantasy will always be in your head.

I love tech when used properly, but to save humanity I also gotta form International Luddite Society, or Anti-Tech Community Forever, or Human Heart Group Interstellar-- I dunno, whatever makes the best band name so we can save humanity and sell albums.

dead horse. mobile internets are getting cheaper and cheaper every month. and you only need about 100k/sec to stream flac.

An ipod touch is a dead technology unless it has massive capacity. Even then, Id prefer a phone with an mSD card port

There's a lot of money in them there hippies, go for it anti-techno guru.

I'm gonna be seriously bummed the day my 160gig classic finally takes a shit... I see you can still buy refurbished ones on ebay for reasonable prices, I'll probably just continue to buy those until they become rare and ridiculously priced.

In the meantime, I've just started putting newer stuff I can't fit on the iPod on my phone, been meaning to go through and delete shit I don't listen to anymore to free up space, probably should re-backup everything as well, think it's been a while since I have.

your phone will take over eventually, it's only annoying when you get a call, which doesn't happen to me very often, lol.

Watch - come the 20th anniversary, they'll release an "iPod Classic" with (hopefully) 1TB in flash memory inside housing to look like the classic with a digital touch wheel...
