As CEO you'd have to come up with a display name tho.

To keep it real and analog, I'm gonna start posting to WATMM by writing my posts in fountain pen on hemp paper, putting them in bottles, and throwing them into the ocean.

Nah, you're a wee child who can't wait for official release. Embarrassing. Shove your privilege.

Statistically at least we are working far less hours? I'd say as a condition that's fairly significant?

Note: this statistic is factors out unemployment. It's only among employed people.

yes, minijobs, 1-day contracts and 0-hour contracts are the best thing ever

Can you explain the relevance to the graph I posted? Even if more people were taking mini jobs and short contracts, their total working hours needed to sustain themselves is going down. That is important.

Coz it's not "total working hours needed to sustain themselves", it's just "total working hours". People might be working less, but without any info on wages or those wages' actual purchasing power as experienced by the earner, it's simply an assertion that lower hours means they're better off... The rise of zero-hours bullshit retail non-jobs and crushing student debt certainly implies to me that a lot of those people with low hours would fellate a zebra for more hours.

TBH I expect that Baby Bummers, esp those who worked in public sector, will go down in history as the most affluent generation ever - I'd be very surprised if we or our children will ever be able to match their lifestyles.

I've given data elsewhere to support my claim. I don't feel like re-hashing it.

did you guys simply try getting rich? you don't need to work if you're rich so you won't have those problems.

this is close to what our Treasurer said a few months ago, though he was talking about housing affordability.
