It's still a really creepy film. There's no way in hell a lot of what's in that film would have been approved today. I'm surprised Disney and Warner approved it back then.

i imagined red boogly eyes sneaking into my room with his steam roller shriek for months after i saw that film when i was 6 or 7.

this sequence freaked the bejeebus out of me.

i think i was 8 at the time

one of my earliest rememborable fears was the thought that my grandparents draft excluder was an actual vicious dragon draped on the opposite side of their back porch door.
