(Haha.....)

Well- not necessarily related to autechre, but if anyone wants any Japanese exclusive releases, lemme know now. Gonna go to the actual shop in a few hours.

Make you're own unique T's you lazy bastards.... it doesn't take much with all the online providers and the rich source of Ae imagery... plus it'll be one of a kind!

(the buzz you get from people going "hey, a syro tshirt - where did yo get that???"). Truly awesome. Also, include some WATMM in-the-know meme-ery on the back and you're fucking laughing!

Uhhhhm, not a helpful answer.

Jesus christ.

Okay, the "answer" is yes, Tower Records is as legitimate as it gets. They are one of the few shops that had Syro exclusives on release, specific to Tower Records. It is where you can pre-order the best electronic music. You know how Japan has been the only country in the world to get exclusive tracks for Warp, Rephlex, Astralwerks, et al releases for the past 20 years? It's because of the pull of a tight scene in Tokyo; a scene that was orchestrated with the help of the best selection at Tower Records, whose electronic music floors spread good electronic music to the masses by giving underground music mad promotion.

I've always read Japan gets bonus tracks bc buying the Japanese edition of a CD in Japan is still more expensive than buying the import from EU or US, so the bonus tracks entice Japanese buyers to buy from the local record label, even though a lot of stores carry both domestic and import editions of the same releases.

there was also a massive Tower Records @ Piccadilly in London for years, and was a great place to shop, unfortunately it was sold and is now a casino I believe.

is somebody from the US buying a shirt? I would like to get one L size, if there is one left yet, I can paypal for it

Sometimes Japanese versions were cheaper, sometimes not. Sometimes basically the same. (Haha)

Neto- I live in Tokyo and ordered the shirts. I think you can get the last L... IN THE UNIVERSE.

All right. All orders sorted and closed for now!

I'm sorry to those who really wanted a shirt who I couldn't help out.

I loved going in there on a mission, loads and loads of stuff to find. Shit loads of death/grind/obscure/experimental metal/punk (if my memory serves me correctly!)

Great shop

you could even get off the Tube and they had their own underground entrance, no need for sunlight haha. the stop is still there but the entrance is closed now.

Ok- I now realize the 3 L sizes were reserved before neto-- so sorry! Was/am on mobile, pain in the ass to confirm everything.

Also, the main Tower Records has gone down since years ago man.... Selection was bare. At least they had new stuff.

not very expensive and that shirt is fucking bangin' MF.

Been one of my holy grails ever since I saw it on the Tower site about a year after Quaristice was released. Has always been perpetually sold out.

And i just googled for the image obviously!

I'm happy with my homemade T's. They're for me, not for sale. Knickers twisted much?

  • 3 weeks later...

been having a really shitty time lately.

This arrived today, less than a week after peace sent it.

very awesome to come home to this waiting for me, the colour is perfect.

thanks mang!

Jer pic is broke, but awesome! Got note that WATMM'er autechrist's t-shirt also came in.

When everyone's t-shirts get to their locations, that's like an awesome group of the last of the Quaristice t-shirts ever-- "The Chosen Ones". Worth a fortune on collector's markets! It's like 303s, except the music... is within.
