cos unfortunately Spurs have nearly always sold their best assets

you'd have to go back to Ardilles, Villa, Perryman & Mabbutt et al to prove otherwise

Pochettino might stay another year after this season, but after that not so sure,,,,,,,

That was under an old board/chairman though. If Spurs qualify and stay in CL for a couple of seasons, they'll be able to retain their best assets.

with the top4 showing so much flux recently there couldnt be a better time to consolidate top4 finishes

whether the Spurs board grasp this chance only time will tell, either way this season has been seriously refreshing

funny story i was watching the spurs game and then unexpectedly started getting some head from me bird. when i stopped watching we were 1 down, I *came* back and it was 2-1!! COINCIDENCE!!?!?!?

Ah what a tasty tasty day. Memphis shows up against a decent premier league side, we beat said side with essentially a junior squad, LVG does this: https://streamable.com/76me

Decent result for you, we are complete bottlers. I've not been a fan of Walcott for years, I'm glad others are beginning to realise.

Yeah can't understand why wenger didn't start giroud. Our two central midfielders playing center back would have had a much more difficult time against him.

season continues to surprise at every turn. arsenal and city not guaranteed CL finishes after tonight (though city have a few 'easy' games to sort things out). spurs' loss not such a big deal for them, especially if they win at the weekend, looks like it's between them and leicester as it stands. united stinking their way back into contention for the top 4? even we're in with a chance again now. can't rule out west ham either, imagine west ham and leicester in the CL next season?! madness

Still 10 weeks to go. Lots can change between then and now. Citeh do seem to have an easier run-in. You lot certainly walloped them yesterday. Still think Leicester will go all the way.

We played a shit match, don't know why the hell Fosu-Mensah was starting in central defense over McNair. A rude awakening for him, you could see the difference a few years is going to make, he's a wee scrawny lad trying to wrestle Deeny. Still we eked it out when we had to.

If we had our first choice Defensive line and midfield, would love to see a 4-4-2 with Rashford and Martial up top.

West Ham & Leics fans are gonna need decompression treatment to avoid the bends at this rate

really like to see Liverpool go on a run now & push the rest hard for a top4 finish, they can only improve under Klopp & i cant see Spurs collapsing in form just yet

big win for LVG & Utd,,,,, if they can consolidate form, a top4 is possible

(lets be honest, any season that has Mourinho abortions at this sort of scale is always gonna be a hoot)

Lovely season, more positivity less cynism (unless you are Aston villa newcastle or Sunderland fan your season has been shit but don't worry next season you'll win more games)

tbh the way Villa & especially Newcastle have been run in recent years, a dose of championship away days is exactly what those clubs deserve. Newcastle should've learned already, but Mike Ashley would boil my piss if he was associated with the Bluebirds. Talk about the wrong person at the wrong club, almost gutted for Geordies (but not quite tee-hee)

Villa are the same. A proper olde football club run by muppets who, for Britain's 2nd city, have repped poorly for far far too long. They've been creaking n sliding since Turnip-Head's reign, def time to put them out of their misery.

Fuck Villa, they've done nothing for years, I'd prefer a relegation scrap to midtable every season for eternity.

It was a good result for us after failing to put Southampton away, still keeps us in with a chance. Another game of wasted chances for us, should've won comfortably, first major cockup from Klopp in needlessly taking off Lovren who was playing fine, for Skrtel who was at fault for two of the goals. I still think City will probably finish 4th though (though can't rule out West Ham I guess), United haven't shown anything in recent weeks to suggest they can go on a run and win pretty much all of the rest of the games, will be tough for us to do the same, especially with one eye on Europe as well.

City is fucked - their defense is a shambles, Kompany is out for most of the run-in, odds on that Otamendi re-injures himself in Argentina's upcoming qualifier. Joe Hart and Sterling out for a month with muscle injuries. Yaya honestly looks like he gives 1% of a shit. Plus they have to decide whether to concentrate on the CL or on finishing fourth. Yes they get KDB and Nasri back, but I don't think that's enough for them to do both CL and prem well.

You lot have the same problem - focus on the Europa league or the prem. You don't have the depth in the squad to do both well (players will be tired, possibility of injuries from playing so many matches etc.).

City, you lot and us have probably about the same degree of difficulty in the next six matches - I expect you and us to win 4 of them, but if City's defense doesn't improve they won't win that many. I just hope the mourinho rumours don't distract too much.

nice

sturridge and origi up front today were a handful, would be nice if they kept it up for the remainder of the season, decent chance of us finishing above united now if nothing else.

i feel like such a heel wanted spurs to win the title knowing that it would require a complete and total collapse from leicester. If it was anyone else in 2nd i would be the biggest leicester fan

Fucks sake Blind was woeful today.

Our lack of a striker was so very very evident today. When LVG put Young up front I knew we were done for.

sorry caze, I we win 5 of our last 6, you win 5 of your last 6 (you'll be tired from going deep in Europa, if not winning it), and we still pip you. If you lot can beat Dortmund on Thursday you have a good chance of going to the final. Dortmund will be tougher though, they get Gundogan back, he gives them so much more in the midfield. I expect a cracking match - as a neutral. It's going to be balls to watch for either sides' supporters though.

eh, we have 7 games left, one more than you. I think we have the squad now to handle Europe, unlike you with the FA cup should you progress there, as we showed yesterday after 7 changes from the previous game. also, lol at your chances at winning 5 out of your last 6 (I'd say you'll lose two and draw another one). not saying we will definitely finish above you, but we have a decent chance, our defence looks better recently and we're the top scores in the league in 2016. we'll probably only need to finish level on points as well, our GD is only one behind, so if we make up the current points gap it'll almost certainly be greater at the end.
