Brooklyn/NYC area WATMMrs want to hear IDM on a 100k watt system?

Any Watmm denizens in the region, I will be playing on the Tsunami Bass sound system November 14th. It is a 100,000 watt sound system designed for dub, jungle, dnb, & dubstep, but I am going to throw down a set consisting entirely of bass-heavy IDM. Stuff like this and this, a little bit of this, as well as a bunch of my own original productions.

I had the pleasure of playing on this sound system in June and dropped Squarepusher's My Red Hot Car and a bootleg remix I did of Autechre's spl9. It was bananas. The kind of deep sub bassweight that vibrates your nosehairs, realigns your vertebrae, and massages your genitalia. If you're in the area mid-November and are interested, by all means pop out and say hi and let's get down. Smoking dank nug IS allowed inside the venue during the show (non-THC drugs are frowned upon, though, so leave that shit at home). Bring joints & blunts and I will help you smoke them. Also, there will be decent quality alcoholic beverages sold at the venue as well.

I'm not sure what my set time will be yet, sometime in between 10pm and 6am. I will update this thread when I know.

Hope to see some of you there! Also feel free to post your favorite bass-heavy tunes in this thread if you have any requests you'd like to hear on a system that massive. It can go down to 5hz.

I'm totally not gonna be there, but dude- it'd be nutz to be on the dancefloor, and then all of a sudden fucking Aphex Twin's 4 drops. BOOM.

That tune has nowhere near enough bass to sound good on that system, though. Needs to be way more subby, like Clark's Silver Sun or Go! Spastic.

My homie is playing on that sound system on Halloween alongside Quest & Nomine if you're still in the area and want to attend that. I'm not sure if I can make it because I'm in Philly and all my friends with cars have other plans for Halloween, but if you want to experience that system while you're in town, which I highly HIGHLY recommend you do, that'd be a good show to attend. Dude will definitely be playing a few of my dubs. Just know that night will most certainly be 100% dub/dubstep and no IDM.

I'll have a think m8 but Sean's invited me to his mrs' babby shower at the Rochdale family estate and that's like a 50 hr flight and 5k gbp in tuxedo rental expenses so I dunno if it'll work out tbf.

Yah, true dat-- but at the same time, I thought there was maybe some hardware that shifted freq from 50~20 Hz, to your noted 5 Hz-- cuz most people don't have a system where they can even properly produce tracks that go down to "five hertz". That's like some mystical level of bass.

You can always get a Sub Pac for producing accurate sub basslines for systems. I've used one before and it's fantastic. Lots of bass music producers have them these days.

The main audience for these parties listens to stuff like this:

...which is considered by the scene to be the cutting edge of heady/experimental dubstep. I want to take it that little extra step further into full IDM territory, which really isn't that far off aesthetically from that Gantz tune.
