nice tight/smallish size room, thats the way i like it. you'd be surprised how many great sound systems here in san francisco/bay area are wasted by overly large spaces. How much do you think the brick walls fucks up the clarity? like are there noticeable reflections in the front? I almost holed up a renegade venue out here in a very similar looking brick hallway type space that was a basement, this looks like its in a basement as well (?)

In the back of the room behind the photographer we had 2 more stacks just like the stacks on the left & right up front (with the two sideways and two vertical on top, not the labhorns or bdeaps). It was such an assault from every direction that I really was not noticing any reflections at all. When you're at the point where every molecule in your body is vibrating so hard that your eyeballs are about to pop out of your skull, it's hard to pick up on nuances like that. The sound guy who is a co-owner of the system does this by profession and his acoustic skills are on point. This was probably the best I've ever heard that system in the dozen or so shows of theirs I've been to.

Shit was awesome. There were a couple alcoves that were hollow and wooden. Some frequencies vibrated me in ways I didn't know I could vibrate.

Stumbling out of there at like 7am was hilarious.

LSN hopped back on after me and kept it going until 9am-ish, then we tore everything down and put the system back in storage, finishing up around 2pm. Then we went and ate ribs in NJ. It was a good time. Wore me the fuck out, though.

Next time I'll be playing on that system is in February. Not officially announced yet though, but I'll let you know. Also I'll be playing an album release party for my EP in January somewhere in Jersey City.
