Oh thought I couldnt blow my cover as the secret gift giver. It's a piece of wood from a national park somewhere north of Sydney (I assume it's from a native tree) that's been partially eaten by ants or termites then preserved in a home brew mix of chemicals. I bought it at a market for a hot price.
