Actually yeah sliced olives are surprisingly good with pepperoni. Been a while since I tried that.

Most people neglect the moisture balance and topping friction aspects of pizza engineering. A good pizza is as much a texture adventure as a flavor one. If you pile on a mess of soggy veggies you've really ruined the pizza experience. Same goes for slippery meat or bullshit like chicken.

The ultimate test is if a pizzaria is able to make a good margherita pizza then they're a-ok in my book - and Best Pizza makes a fucking awesome margherita.
