That link leads to a curated site of the contents - all you can see is the tape image - cover art etc and some minimal tagging but there could be gold here!

I've got it now. You have to extract via 7Zip as it's a .tar file. Winrar farts when you try.

Waaaaiiiittt - Ohmygod I'm an idiot, I've had that project saved in my bookmarks list for about two years now. Recognise the layout from your link ^ Polytrix

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

Oh and it has been split into individual tracks you can download from the curated site here and stream content.

Make sure you scroll down tho so the page populates with all the results

Once you click on an individual link it takes you to a separate profile page and some files are also available for download as OGG vorbis as the rest is otherwise MP3

I'm enjoying a lot of this, particularly the compilation tapes like this one:

Yeah I haven't heard this one yet. I wondered if people on here knew more about the artists which would help guide my listening. It needs grouping of some kind.

I found some proper boc sounding weird stuff before.

which artists? i've managed to find a few very interesting discoveries

What are your interesting discoveries then? I'll list mine here when I'm finished.

Yeah, I'm slowly working my way through the two folders of mp3s and dragging across what sounds good into a separate personal collection.

There seems to be a hell of a lot of sample based stuff which isn't particularly inspiring and some proper odd 80's stuff.

But then there's some really cool experimental/ambient synth pieces and I'm loving it when I find those.

Have you found any proper heavy guitar stuff yet? I was hoping for some Sunn O)) esque doom/stoner stuff.
