I had to stop watching that, just so fucking frustrating. Lot of respect for that veteran Steven Hewett. That said, I ended watching this one though.

This stuff is incredibly troubling, I keep hoping it's going to be something of a generational phenomenon and die out before it really negatively affects us all.I might be wrong, but I've always had the impression that Americans regardless of social class or region were simply not this inclined to such religious and political delusions before, say, the 80s and 90s. Are such right-wing Christians, particularly "end times" oriented ones, in any form of power in Europe? (i.e. the pro-Israel "the end is nigh!" types, not just the xenophobic, secular right-wingers.)

not that i know of, certainly not in sweden anyway. such things might be an issue in the more religious parts of europe, italy or portugal or whatever, dunno.
