This is really cool. I'd be interested in learning more about the involvement jack dangers had with these guys in the 90s. this has a very mbm vibe and the last round of mbm tours was basically live versions of this kind of music from video sampling. also jack dangers' "the forger" project is clearly along the same lines as ebn.

cool post, I'd never seen this before.

EBN started out self funded and did an EP that caught the attention of U2, so this video was played at the beginning of every show on U2's Zooropa tour. Then, Jack Dangers produced almost their entire and only album to date, putting his signature hip hop breakbeat bend on their sampledelic sound. EBN helped develop the first video sampler, which Jack has since incorporated into his live shows as the software has developed over the years. The fact that these guys got away with buying surplus military weapons and modified them to their ends speaks volumes about how pre 9/11 and Homeland Security they were. They would end up in prison firing off non-military missiles in US airspace these days, lol.  I can see their influence on genres like vaporwave, but from a different time.

cool dude, thanks for that info. do they still do stuff?

Being as tech savvy as they were, I believe they continued in software development, and A/V applications.
