I just saw this pop up and it started talking about a US-Canada border town with drug problems and I thought to myself "wonder if it's that town we passed through on our roadtrip where we saw a rehab support group chilling at the Tim Horton's".

turns out it is that town. Sault Ste Marie. broke my heart a little bit, seeing it this way. I kind of liked going through there. reminds you how tough working-class life is and how ordinary suffering is in that world.
