i know some people who enjoy vegas and have gone for work many times and some even gamble and win. its like a bonus weekend w/the wife or whatever and they make the most of it. all acknowledge it's changed a lot in the last decades.. anyway.. i've always found it to be a fear and loathing type experience and if i'm there for more than a day it becomes a bad scene.

someone i know took acid there w/a novice and had to play the guide. i think it was the person's first time taking acid. at some point she had to take a shit and my friend tried to drag her through the casino to use the toilet but she couldn't handle it and instead got one of the free weekly newspapers and found a dark parking lot off the strip. there was an RV parked in it. she spread the newspaper out on the pavement in front of the side entrance to the RV and squatted over it and took a big dump. used some tissues to finish up and then split.

i lol'd the first time i was told this story and wondered what the poor people who stayed in that RV would think when they got up in the morning and opened the door to the RV.

i got stuck in vegas due to bad weather in the city i was heading to and ended up spending christmas day in vegas. seeing people hit the slots on christmas morning was one of the saddest things i’ve encountered
