With the difference that some of these people having NDEs have remote viewed other stuff happening in different rooms from the building they were in that moment, listened conversations, told details impossible to know form them. Others have also seen exact future events of their own life when they had the NDE, and those events came exactly as they were shown. Also they share in common the intense feeling of hyper reality that is felt in that state. Havent tried DMT nor had a NDE so I cannot compare, but this stuff is not just enhanced hallucination, it has to be with a connection to other dimensions and new capabilities of conscience and perceptions that correlates with legitimate events, and probably DMT can trigger that to, some part of our conscience aka call it spirit can be separated from the biological machine retain the info somehow (if we consider the spirit being a kind of light, light can share and retain data) and then express it afterwards

a friend of mine did dmt and 'died' and was reborn into outer space.. came out a big vagina into space..  and saw the birth of the earth.. and a bunch of solar events and some kind of death/birth sequence where he became a baby and stuff.
