yeah his eye expression does not match the smile so it looks weird 

his new amazon show is even more over the top than his normal videos but its really boring to watch.

yeah.. freejazz often is.. i'm sure R. Crumb is very much a hater of that scene and is more into what people think of as traditional jazz. there's history there and different people (jazz critics) think/say different things about it.  a lot of them don't like Miles Davis' heroin funk era
