oh the humanity...feels like a segment from Alan Partridge

yeah. i don't know how to describe the phenomenon, but bruce willis is one of those american interviewees that comes to england, hears people speaking english and can't quite comprehend how it's possible *his* language is being spoken in a different country, but somehow the words he's hearing being spoken don't have any content to them what so ever - no value, just all daft and stupid stuff being fired at him ... that everything being said is just empty. and his response, to english ears, sounds like he doesn't quite get why this language barrier is having an effect, even though it doesn't actually exist. "american english" versus "english english"... ?

he's a prick. but one that was once taken as charming, cool and collected by UK fans of moonlighting, all those years ago. bad interviewees from america also stand out here because they're either very standard interview scenarios (for films) or they're so out of the ordinary they don't know how to engage in any specific, direct conversation >

parkinson versus meg ryan, from around ten years ago.

I'm hardly a closed minded nun. Remember, I'm on a fucking IDM forum.... an IDM forum.. Think about that for a second before claiming people are closed minded nuns.
