That cover is a masterpiece, if only there were whole contemporary works oriented to a similar style: I would not listen to anything else. I was fortunate enough to see Alarm Will Sound playing the repertoire of steve reich at sacrum profanum (2014) but cfern is on an unattainable floor.

Yes it seems music gods let them catch the soul of cfern.

The instrumentation of some of this covers sounds like Making Bones era Red Snapper - only not so perfectly played. The musicians aren't the virtuoso players that the music demands, and the live situation doesn't help this either. But I appreciate the effort.

Alarm Will Sound with Cfern is far better. I wish they made a full Autechre album, not just an Aphex one.
