kausto
There was an opportunity to buy one locally but i missed this chance. I have RSD-10 and it is pretty awesome too. Using something like Micromodular you can do some mad generative control networks with feedbacks etc. This half-racks sound very musical. Though nowadays you can recreate something similar with Axoloti for example. Also, is it possible to re-record the output in an overdubbing kind of way? TubularCorporation
A friend of mine has the Kaoss Quad, he gets some great sounds out of it. No MIDI, unfortunately. I've wanted one of these Boss RPS-10's for a few years but they always cost a bit more than I want to spend. Traded for an RDD-10 a couple years ago and it's probably my favorite digital delay of all time. Kind of grainy and lo fi but in a rich, organic way. It think a lot of those early, lower end digital delays really benefited from the low sample rate, since it meant the cutoffs of the antialias filters were well into the audible range, and at least some of them handle feedback as an analog section, so there's another couple of filters in the signal path. The RDD-10 definitely acts more like a BBD delay than a digital delay when you push it.
