Are we obligated as adults to attend boring parties? I guess it all depends on how well you know the attendees, and how many there are.

I'm physically recoiled by terrible music and have successfully avoided it for so long now that I never made myself tolerant to it, heh. Ahh well have a few vodkas and a blast no point not having fun. [-; as to polite conversation, no one said you had to do this. heheh.

lol yeah. I will just drop off his goodies, thank him for taking care of the cats, have one drink, eat some of his food (which always sucks.. god he's a really nice guy but some people just can NOT throw decent parties, even with loads of practice), and gtfo. 20-40 minutes. I can do this.

No, the dog stayed with a nice couple who has another dog, and they actually like having her around for the other dog to play with.

 

There is this one big guy who's pretty much as smug and boring as everyone else except that (as well as having a "That was Zen, This is Tao" bumper sticker) he seems to work hallucinogens to the conversation at least once every party. Maybe there's some amusement to be had there. I don't know.

So I went and saw Cygnus play a set, and he just kept going and going while the sound guys and people were trying to make him stop. They were obviously flustered and pissed off, and he still kept going. At one point the dude had come to the stage and waited a while, then he flagged him from back by the soundboard, and then he came to the side of the stage and started yelling at him. I'm immensely satisfied. I was laughing my ass off. I imagine they were wanting the headliner to play during the 12 o'clock, but he played about 10 minutes til 12 which basically screwed them from getting on stage before him.

PW seems like a man with little to lose. Can't blame him. Touring with Ae and Rob Hall, 2015 had to have been a milestone year for him, and I understand his wish to conclude it the way he wanted - refusing to be a pushover in the process.

Someone just said "can haz cheeseburger" in 2015. I mean, 2016. :O

spent my NYE at the park in the cold staring at the skyline, drinking cheap beer, listening to chrissy murderbot, writing/working on my own tunes, and later hanging out w/ the miss and her coworker. not bad but i basically just want to chop rap acapellas all night, can't be satisfied

Stayed up til 8:30am to watch the ball drop in NYC, drank too much Red Bull, bought too much stuff online, watched Spectre then passed out.
