School of Seven Bells are underrated, they are releasing their final album soon. So sad about their situation.

This local radio show has a lot of stuff you're likely looking for. The DJ is a 40 something dude too (I assume - he plays a lot of 90s era stuff he dug back in the day). He's played a Grimes and Purity Ring a lot as well, so that's a start.

Funny this thread popped back up - in reading through it again, I am surprised and shocked nobody mentioned Crystal Castles!
