Radiohead - A Moon Shaped Pool

being a bit late to the radiohead party ( got into them ~2003~2004) ... i'm pretty shocked at all the mentions of people hating kid a.

i always guessed NME and the like hated Kid a, but never really experienced much in the way of people and fans talking negatively of it. must've been too young / too late.

Kid A received largely rave reviews when it came out, which was pretty cool cuz I thought it was the bees knees, but Radiohead have always received good media so it was no surprise(s)

I'm a big fan of Hail to the Thief. I liked the anything goes approach of that album and it sounds like they had fun making it even if they didn't(maybe they did)

Yeah, really great read, works well to listen as you read. Would be amazing or unnerving (both?) to see people drawing this level of meaning from your own creations.
