So do the album sales pay all the bills?

Without a doubt. Otherwise, they would tour.

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.

when i first started listening to boards, the whole mystery surrounding them was so awesome. it made the music really really weird feeling. just these two weird guys that nobody knew, living in a huge abandoned bomb shelter out in the middle of nowhere making this amazing music. seemed like barely anyone could contact them, not many people knew of them, and they kept to themselves doing whatever they wanted.

then the campfire headphase surfaced, and i was super thrilled about that, seeing the art / track titles, i don't think they could have done anything else to make it MORE boards of canada, but i don't know, in the passing months, it seems like they became more open. more interviews, appearing all over the internet, MYSPACE, mtv, all of this new fangled GUITAR music.

it just took away from the way i used to view them, but i guess it's that way with all of the music i ever listen to. realization sucks. :\

moby liscenced almost every track off play, sold tonnes of those tracks to advertisers and is now able to whatever the hell he wants. only makes sense to me to sell music you'll make anyways, whether it be in pop culture or not.

its free money for shit they love to do anyways, whether it be for free or $50 000.

"I'm sure BoC are millionaires and aren't hurting for money. It seems like they may be too focused on being popular these days." hahaha no way are you kidding me!!! no way, no way, I mean they still struggle and have never had the money to even make a proper video...

"I had to wonder why they chose Davyan Cowboy, the most commercial-sounding track from TCH, for the single." Have you ever heard about labels? I mean they even stated in a interview that they would never be allowed to do a album like TCH (with guitars and stuff) with warprecords just a few years back....but now when Warp has become more guitar oriented and less electronic (good or bad, bad imo) then it was no problem releasing that kind of record..so believe me! labels have a lot to say on what to be released and what not. If warp want to release that track as a single, they do it.

And no way do BOC got a "3 point" records deal.

"Lot of people, you know what I'm sayin, they be gettin misinformed

thinkin everything is everything, that you could just get yourself

a little deal, whatever, youknowhatI'msayin you gonna get on you

gonna get rich. And all these labels be trying to lure us in like

spiders, into the web, knowhatI'msaying. So sometimes people gotta

come out and speak up, and let people understand, that you know you

gotta read the label you gotta read the label if you don't read the

label you might get poisoned..."
