I remember going into college (2004) after being into electronic music for a year or two beforehand in high school

trance was huge at the time (tiesto especially) which my roommate liked but I clung dearly to all the big beat stuff that got me into the genre - chemical brothers, fatboy slim, prodigy

I also liked basement jaxx and daft punk but house hadn't re-surged quite yet

EDM seems like the same old shit, I though the trap and dubstep fads would of had more lasting power in terms of changing up the sounds a bit but I can't help but laugh at the fact that all these old ass eurodance DJs are popular again
