SHORT MENTAL AFX

edit: still my top track from the sc dump

I keep forgetting to delete it from my sc dump playlist because it always comes on super loud and scares me when I'm driving and I might crash and kill someone then their family members will miss them and stuff

deleting that track should grant you 500 warning points

u no can handle the DUSTBIN 'CORE

I cannot stop listening to this, and it doesn't even take me that much time to get back listening to it. It's just pure beauty. Especially after 4:14!

Such a gem... it´s a pity that is too abrasive in some pasages for my taste... The abrasiveness is the only thing I dont like of Mr James, and is something that is almost inexistent since analords, so I like his output more with the time

damn, always really liked this track but at the same time never really dug into it, the main hook and chords are forever repeating and because of that i look at it as more of a techno song like 180db and whatnot, i've never noticed how the drums are forever changing in such an incredible subtle way! one of his best drum works right? thank you richard! xoxo

If I'd have to give this track a theme/meaning I'd say it's about cause and effect and how everything is irreversible, no matter what happens (thinking of that "field of hope" cover art). So subtle, dark and beautiful, one of my favorites by Richard.

Currently...Tassels. It sounds like Depeche Mode's Jazz Thieves slowed down...

Also Hedphelym and Tha and Where's Your Girlfriend and Reunion 2.

I've not been listening to much RDJ lately, then Klopjob popped up on a playlist and I've been looping it for a while ever since.

It's weird, I don't get transfixed like that with any other artists, anyway, cool video...

have this on repeat...Phillip Boa & The Voodoo Child - deep in velvet (Aphex Twin Turnips mix)

just grabbed a second pristine condition CD for 99p from a local shop, this is the second time i have seen this and just can't turn it down at that price no matter how many copies i have.

fuckin getting into this

i love that quoth/on EP slow buildup shit... so much grooves, so much beat

Wooowww love this one, That bass sound melody is really neat. Can't really believe I missed this track in the dump.

But then again I had that feeling a lot lately when relistening to a lot of the tracks i sort of had dismissed the first time over.

Starting to understand where he was going with the voting lists and being able to change them over time.

It takes time but taste does change :)

That's why I think this thread is really awesome...

Yup.

...still kind of amazed someone else on here said that it's 'easily the worst' song in the analord series. I know everyone has their own unique outlook on life and we should respect other people's opinions, etc. but
