Recommended Posts

10th vday togeva woohoo!

Never dated before, so I'm pretty much indifferent to it. I used to get all emo-butthurt about it, but now I've decided that good food is all that matters.

To keep it real and analog, I'm gonna start posting to WATMM by writing my posts in fountain pen on hemp paper, putting them in bottles, and throwing them into the ocean.

Spent it the usual way...ALONE. Except I did have a visitor, the vomitbug that had me bedridden the whole day.

Agree but I could watch Milla Jovovich all day long.

I took my GF with me to the cops because I wanted to complain about a fucker who hit me in the head tuesday night. Not really a romantic valentine's day, we managed to save it by going to a nice japanese restaurant and playing Guitar Hero a lot tho :)

Bought a new tumbler, cleaned our utility room, went to a design market my girlfriend wanted to check out, had a coffee at a coffee shop, went out for pizza at our favorite pizza restaurant where the chef made my girlfriend's pizza into the shape of a heart, and then we watched Star Wars: The Force Awakens for the third time.

At 4 am or so (technically Valentines Day already) I found a cellphone abandoned on ledge, vibrating cause someone was calling. It's Carnival night so everyone's dressed up in disguise and well drunk. Told the caller where I was and the owner of said phone came over after a while. Turned out to be the server at a pizza place I used to go to all the time but stopped going to, must be in her late twenties. I've seen her countless times but of course she didn't know me. Anyway she was really grateful and started kissing me on the cheek grandma style for half a minute and said "I'm gonna get on my knees here thank you so much", unfortunately I wasn't drunk enough to tell her what I was thinking in response. Poor girl, she was almost crying. Anyway that's the most action I got on valentines

Interesting factiod here:

There are many other legends behind Saint Valentine, none of them based on historical facts. One is that in the 1st century AD it is said that Valentine, who was a priest, defied the order of the emperor Claudius and secretly married couples so that the husbands wouldn't have to go to war. The legend claims that soldiers were sparse at this time so this was a big inconvenience to the emperor. Another legend is that Valentine refused to sacrifice to pagan gods. Being imprisoned for this, Valentine gave his testimony in prison and through his prayers healed the jailer's daughter who was suffering from blindness. On the day of his execution he left her a note that was signed "Your Valentine".

was my recently deceased girlfriends (RIP darling) funeral in Czech so, it was fully mental but i could feel her presence and let her friends and family know how much she was adored so possibly the most romantic valentines day ever, except for the utterly tragic part.

now my fatalism is completely off the scale so, remember idm kids, that if you love your partner dont ever get complacent.

sorry to hear that fenton, a friend of mine's gf also recent died from a medical emergency relating to diabetes.

she was in her early twenties. the world is a crazy place. you never know how much time you have with people.

That sounds really beautiful fenton, except the utterly tragic part as you said.

I'm sorry for your loss and hope you're well.
