Aye, that was my 'rose-tinted' memory of the mu site too. Haven't seen it for ages but instantly took me back to fond memories of discovering Joseph Nothing, Lexaunculpt, and Muziq himself. And jeez, yeah the old days of having to make things like corner-left.gif,corner-right.gif,drop-shadow-right.gif, loads of 1x1 px different coloured boxes, tables full of &nbsp's

I noticed that too - since when did Bleep's shopping cart be commercially available?

There's also Autechre, Battles, Night Slugs and On-U Sound. Turns out they do dispatch services too. I quite admire them for this (slight) branching out.

 

Planet Mu just looks pretty similar to every other new label site of the last few years.
