If far-right rhetoric is going to be normalized and accepted around Europe, then wouldn't be surprised to see more political violence happening. From both sides of the spectrum. And this of course is a symptom of the austerity and widening wealth gap and inequality that is sweeping in Europe and rest of the world. We all fucked (add to the recent news that atmospheric CO₂ has reached 400ppm and will probably never go below that level within our lifetimes). Humanity are in their death throes.

Manufacturing guns by hand is actually not nearly as difficult as you'd think. More than a handful of people out there doing it with simple hand tools or metalworking machines.

Back when Vice wasn't as shit they covered some of this going on in one of the middle eastern countries. I remember seeing some teenagers and old men sitting around in a dinky shack crafting fully functional assault rifles with scrap metal, tubes, and wood. All with hand tools. Ended up with what looked like replica AK47s.

interesting to see how the british media and politicians deal with an event like this, as opposed to the us politics/media. (did the political discourse change after that politician got shot a couple of years ago? nooooo...)
