DJ Shadow - The Mountain Will Fall

The first two tracks don't seem representative of the rest of the album. This is just after one listen though. The vibes really picked up around the third track and I'm enjoying it more than I expected. Still not a fan of the trap-style or whatever percussion, but there are some damn fine tracks here.

Okay, the stretch from track 5 to 8 is straight up amazing.

Again, early impressions.

I now really like 4 tracks on The Private Press. However, I've never seen an album so full of filler material before.

Yeah this was a decent release, I feel like he finally shook off the comparisons to Endtroducing era stuff and re-discovered his own sound that is neither dated nor aimless.
