I Need Sounds... For My Phone

Ugh, decided to change some of my sounds around and it's not happening.

Anyone got any tips for changing ringtones on an iphone4s? 

I followed an online guide, converted to AAC then m4r. It's not having it.

(I'm an android person so haven't a clue whether this is how you do it...) Don't you just play an mp3/media file and then in iTunes or whatever your media player is press the Set As Ringtone option in some menu ?

I have the beginning of this as a ringtone but I very rarely keep my sounds on.

I've had this since released on Kettel's Unreleased 2002 - 2012 collection.

Don't find it annoying at all. Have had the occasional hat tip, others think It's of my kids, then find out I don't have kids, then think it's someone else's kids, then think I'm a paedo.

My advice is definitely not to use a piece of music that you love as a ringtone as it will recontextualise it in a less-than-flattering way (imagine how you'll feel about hearing Rae thereafter if you've been waking up to it at 6AM for the past year).
