signed the petition, but 2 men also died there in 9 weeks which isn't long, kinda fucked to just expect to continue the party.

it prob would would of turned into a very sterile environment (was it really that great anyways?) with new measures anyhow, with the sterility being a good mirroring of london at this moment in time with tube fares & increasing rents & ale prices........london rant over

UK drug law needs serious reform

frustrated seeing the news after Sadiq Khan's pledge to protect nightlife but it seems his hands really were tied on the matter

haven't been in there in an age (too old to go clubbing now), but had some great nights there 15 years ago at the dnb night.

as to the the deaths that have occurred there recently, don't know the details but wouldn't surprise me if they didn't involve MDMA, who knows what kind of shit is actually in the drugs around these days? that shit wouldn't be happening if you could just by properly regulated, quality controlled drugs in the clubs themselves. MDMA is pretty harmless really.

who knows, maybe they have an early one no idea, but fact of the matter is deaths happened there. agree with drug reform though,  some ecstasy is cut with really nasty stuff leading to deaths similar to this so yeah that discussion is long overdue,

agree with that undercurrent, theres talk about it also happening to berghain as a lot of the land around it is getting developed including a shopping mall. lol even keep the name hacienda apartments

My sources state that pills of today can be 4x higher in MDMA content than those of the 90s. It's the strong drug content that is causing the deaths, especially when kids neck 3 pills in the queue on the way into the club to avoid the searches.

Drug testing kits need introducing for people to find out exactly what they intend to take.

Fabric highlight: Jimmy Edgar polishing off his room 1 live set about 10 years ago with some hard as nails gabber techno. Loved it. Hardest music I've ever heard in that club!

IMO they will never get the club back open. The decision has been made by powers above any of us.

 You know, they should probably close down the City of London, for the rampant cocaine abuse and number of drug related deaths there.

 And the not caring about or acknowledging underground culture continues. The reasons change over time, but the result is always the same. We don't matter to them, really. Maybe you chaps understand what i mean when i say normals now. It's funny, i was looking at that islington council chamber thinking, "that would make a good couple of apartments", heheheheh.

 This is my third attempt at this post, i think that this is the most politically neutral and inoffensive post that i could come up with, cause there's fanatical normals here as well, hiding in the watmmwork, with their agenda to close down any dissent and spread normal everywhere. heh.

People should get off their arses & organize alternative methods/venues, the fact a 'super' club gets canned shouldnt be the end of anything, there was night life long b4 Fabric & there will always be options with enough imagination & will-power
