I'm pissed about the removal of the headphone jack.

I'm pissed that you can't  listen to music through headphones and charge your phone at the same time.

I'm stoked about 256 gigabytes of storage

I am extremely doubtful that the new earbuds will take off, they aren't even connected. One of them will go missing all the time. 

Oh and the new camera is kinda cool, especially the enhanced zooming capability and improved night time picture-taking.

I personally don't really care all that much.. I just ordered the SE iphone so that should last me 2–3 years until this whole no headphone jack business either evolves into an industry of good wireless tech (ie. ability to adapt existing headphones cheaply) or maybe my next phone will be an android phone that I'll continually get frustrated with because my "customisations" are malfunctioning

$160 for Airpods is complete bullshit. No new iPads or MacBooks was a big letdown. As was Miyamoto appearing just to announce a gimped version of Super Mario Bros.

yea right, and the fact that they are forcing people at gunpoint to buy their products is kind of scandalous tbqh.

also it's so obvious that they own the US government and it's them who are responsible for Android phones being illegal.

it's *more* dumbed down without a 3.5 jack? possibly the dumbest, most fragile connection port ever? it outdated when they included it in the ipod. they had made it clear that the jack was inhibiting both the thinness battle and the waterproofing battle. I think I have plugged headphones into that jack on my iphone about twice anyway. Any time i play music from the phone (gym, car, travel speaker) its always wireless. Its not as tho this is an audiophile device to plug your grados in it or whatever. thats what foobar and an external DAC headphone amp is for hurr durr

What Apple obviously didn't want to say, is that by going all digital with your audio, they can and will bring back that nasty DRM, don't be surprised when they announce an iPhone that no longer plays MP3s or WAVs someday.

Damn, if there only was a way to circumvent DRM by something like, recording, or something..

but couldn't they do that in software anyway? like, if they really wanted, they could make it so that only files actually purchased in itunes or streamed from apple music could be played on the device. that's clearly not going to happen any time soon.

this thing may not be pretty, but it does take stress off the headphone cable's connector. I'd rather replace a $9 adapter than repair a headphone cable. For listening on the go, it's not that bad really.

And at home, I'm not using the headphone jack at all - it's bluetooth or Airplay, depending on where I'm listening.

Lol at the Airpods though. The Apple earpods really suck, and these are probably the same but wireless - for $160. lol. and the Beats things: fuck right off.
