haven't watched the whole thing yet, at 8 minutes now, but it's pretty hilarious. Internet stops working when you connect USB devices...

"I would buy this machine for a secretary to make sure she was working", lol. I have a cherry keyboard so like loud clackyness, but on a laptop that's pretty dumb. Presumably they'll fix the usb/pci shittyness with a firmware update, though there's not many USB-Cs about, so I guess it could be a hardware issue.

Apple has never been a company that was very good at innovating or inventing shit (despite the fact that their marketing department has succeeded in making people think they were), but they were very good at least at refining and polishing things so they were pretty painless for people to use, especially non-experienced users. They really seem to be going backwards in that regard in recent years though.

I see nothing wrong with the book (it's for Apple fans, obvs), but the price, even for the "small" version, is a pisstake for sure.

yea fuck. Bought an Airport Express not too long ago, for the sole purpose of lossless wireless audio streaming to my speakers. That's pretty sad that they decided to scrap it. Hope they will at least maintain the AirPlay protocol for a while.

Why are emojis so popular to begin with? I don't remember people freaking out about MSN emoticons when that was a thing.
