I agree. I missed the boat on anime I guess (never got into it) and have 0 nostalgia for it or anything related. And I never liked rave.  Ugh. I like Vaporwave because it elicits an emotional response and etc. Don't think it was just carried by nostalgia alone at all, not that this necessarily is either. Officially old. Or maybe not. Whatever. If you like it, more power to you.
