Lots of tracks appearing on YouTube now. Can't say I'm feeling it much.

Leaks?

'Going Backwards' is perhaps one of the best tracks they have ever produced...

And where can we here this amazing song?

Wait, what? I guess you haven't heard anything from dm made before 2009 then?????

If anyone on here has an Amazon Prime Account, the full deluxe addition can be streamed with no ads.

'Edition'.

I listened to this... skipped about 70% of the tracks after the first few bars. Told myself to listen again and force myself to go through every track, which I did later in the day.

There are a few standouts, but nothing remotely resembling a 'hit'. Production is great though, and their decades of experience certainly shines through.

I think it might be time for DM to hang up their hats and enjoy retirement or at least do behind-the-scenes work for others...

I found the political/social theme a bit too cringey as well.

Album sounds good to me, I will listen some more and see what happens over time...

Depeche Mode's first three albums are what switched me on to music as a kid, so bias. that social political philosophy they had going on in '83 so good to see it breaching again. So bias, Depeche & Autechre are my desert island discs!!

Was wondering how I knew that track so well despite definitely not hearing it before ... and realized I'd had a cover of it for 10+ years -

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

they played this on bbc6 this morning, I like it (much more than I thought I would) so I thought I'd post it up

not sure about the quality though on this version from youtube, sounds crappy to the radio version

great tune imo

Ha, I heard that on Shaun Keaveny this morning too and quite enjoyed it.

I used to think DM were gods back in the early nineties, my first music obsession.

quite a refreshing setlist. cool to see them peform some of their lesser popular tracks which is equally fantastic as their most known ones

Album ain't as bad as i expected, even though i had to skip past a lot of tongue-in-cheek political "protest". Frenetic Mix of Scum was a refreshing surprise

Overall, thank god for James Ford
