I'm sure everybody in here has a (un)finished track that's terrible, but ya like it anyways for one reason or another. Anybody wanna share? Who knows, maybe sharing our garbage will spark some creativity.

I enjoyed both of those! The high end on the trashy track was a wee bit too hot on my ears, though.

Oh shit, just listened to it. It normally sounds like crap, but that's even more shrill than it usually is.

i put this up a month ago as if anyone will ever care. it's the 10 yr old demo i sold at my first show. i only played for like 15-20 minutes but i sold every demo i brought! (i only brought like 5 and sold them for $1).

This thread is turning out to be very impressive. It's like a space for the stuff of ours that normally wouldn't see plays. I'm astounded at the dates of some of these. -02 for that track Gocab?! It's future as hell, could easily see it getting airplay these days. Same for juices EP, it sounds a lot more recent than 2006. Some great Kid606 vibes on that. FLOL at the Tim Allen grunt!

These aren't exactly shit demos, but they suffered the same fate of never getting finished, project files got lost and now they literally only exist as these clyps. I couldn't really put them up anywhere in good conscience, so maybe this is suitable for their final resting home.

I got commissioned in early 2014 to do some soundtracks for a local indie team making an Xcom clone. I sent them some wips suggesting dynamic differences between states of gameplay. They liked it and the game looked pretty good, but things kinda collapsed mid development. At any rate, it was fun doing these.

some great stuff in this thread, here are a few of mine that I keep online and listen to sometimes, but never finish because I don't know what to do with them..

I've got 20–30 demos like this of me just multitracking acoustic guitar.. if I wasn't so pedantic about audio quality I'd just get someone to sing on them and release the best ones as a lofi indie acoustic album or something lol

I think I ended up using that melody in a crappy trance track, haha

a remix of a friend/collaborator's acoustic song as 100% trance mega classixxx

that's gotta be at least 10 years old by now, fuck.. I was totally obsessed with that melody

a song I wrote when I was 4 and tried to recreate as stupid punk shit a few years ago
