Yeah, I almost retracted the facepalm.  I know for sure that shit's happening among some members of the rich class, absolutely no doubt about that.  It's the wild conspiracies that undermine it which really get under my skin (such as reading all this code into a pizza parlour etc. via some innocuous email).  So like... anything that encourages that sort of stupidity also bothers me.  But I get what you mean.  You're not wrong.  It's just the other associations with it that get the instant "goddamit" reaction from me.  I've known a few people who have become nearly psychotic going down the conspiracy rabbit-hole.  And I hate how it ends up resulting in violence/harassment towards innocent people who get caught in the cross fire.  Seems like a far more common thing now than ever before.  (Fuck you Alex Jones, you piece of human garbage.)

So yeah, I don't disagree with you.  Gonna keep that facepalm there though, for context.  Plus facepalms are just fun.

The evidence hasn't exactly been a well kept secret. We could all compile a laundry list of reporting for you that I would have a hard time believing you weren't already well aware of. What do you think Epstein's real job was? 

I just want to hear an alternative explanation. We all know the details, but maybe you have something new to add. Be the devil's advocate if you feel you must. 

There's a lot of join-the-dots conspiracy nonsense connecting him to various well known people, but afaik there's no evidence linking any of them to his actual crimes. I'm not disputing his own crimes, just the CIA/global elite pedo ring stuff. I'm sure there are plenty of global elite people who are pedos, just like there are plenty of regular schlub pedos, but for both types of pedos we require evidence if we want to say for sure they're doing pedo shit.

Yeah, I do think the truth lies somewhere in the middle.  The conspiracy heads lean way too far into the "mega-rich moguls/political figures are having lavish pedo parties" camp, and then there's the other Cazy side that is steadfast in being like "well we don't know for sure, so let's live and let live" (despite their being plenty of red flags among the company certain people keep, etc.).  Obviously rich people get away with tons of awful shit, and they also get suspected of tons of awful shit that they have nothing to do with.

But there would have to be some other reason that all of these influential people would want to hang out with him, why he had his own office and keycard at Harvard, where he visited 40 times after being released from prison. There doesn’t seem to be one. If he was bringing something to the table besides underage punani, I’m sure all of the prestigious high rollers would have mentioned it. 
 

Even that George Nader guy had some sort of foreign policy experience. He just happened to be a pedo as well. Epstein doesn’t have any cover at all, and knew he didn’t need it. 

As the leader of a successful multinational corporation, I would appreciate if you'd push these notions out of your mind posthaste.

Uh, yeah there was, lots of them. He did financial consulting and investment stuff for lots of wealthy people for a long time (from long before he started the pedo shit), was active in the social circles these people moved in, he was obviously a successful networker. He did lots of philanthropic stuff too, gave a lot of money to Harvard, he was on various boards, donated money to various politicians, was into various tech/science things. It certainly wouldn't surprise me if he was finding women, or even in some cases kids, for some of these people (we need evidence to back up any claims though, this includes allegations from some of the women who have come forward, but there haven't been many of them really), but the idea that everyone he knew only knew him because of this is patently absurd, I'm sure the majority of them were completely oblivious.

If there was a powerful influential person who I needed to know, I would also donate to their campaign before flying them to my private island. How did he become a billionaire in the first place?

It's debatable whether he was ever a billionaire, he started off working for Bear Stearns in the 70s, rose in the ranks pretty quickly, but then was fired and set up his own consulting firm, he was probably pretty wealthy by the time he got into the investment game in the 80s, but that's where he would have made the real money. Apparently he got wiped out in 2008 though. Most of the allegations/crimes seem to be from the 90s on, so he was probably already very wealthy and well connected before that stuff started. His proclivities also seemed to start out relatively normal, becoming more fucked up over time.

one of those podcasts in the epstein thread had all the details of where his money came from. it was all super shady.

He’s definitely fucked up, and sure there are some people in his circle of friends that are fucked up as well. That doesn’t mean there’s a giant global conspiracy. The human brain is good at making patterns and connections, even when those connections don’t actually exist, or there is no evidence for them.
