John Peel introduced me to Melt Banana many moons ago, I believe they did a session or two for the BBC.

Will definitely be grabbing this compilation.

This is the session I was on about, recorded when I was 17. Looking at the peel sessions wiki page, they did another session in 2003.

Listening back to that recording again is bringing back loads of good feels

Melt Banana is fucking great!

Prurient gets a lot of hate from noise elitists since P4K hyped the Vatican Shadow project, the stuff he did on Blackest Ever Black and Frozen Niagara Falls, and now he's "too mainstream" but like was mentioned, he's been at it for decades and most of his stuff is pretty legit.

The clipping track on here is fuckin' dope, their most recent LP Splendour & Misery is a really interesting listen as well.
