sampler probably. based on their last two teasers. one of which was a mic art with a tiny mic sensor in it and that last one is definitely a new lcd for a po.

All the modern hardware seems to have the color pallete of an old candy raver's necklace. Fuckin' Nicolas Refn on an acid bender designing these things. I want something in the ugly biege box variety, with loud mechanical keys, too. If it doesn't look like it can send a fax then it's probably not worth the money.

A sampling pocket operator would solve my (minor) issue with them, which is ultimately getting bored with the sounds. Being able to add my own samples and fuck them up with momentary, step recordable effects sounds brilliant.

roland go mixer looks decent for making quick instagram jams. wonder if it could work with cameras w/o line in (like sony rx100 series) as well or if it's only ios/android.

Good point about the mkii. That was maybe before elektron had a clear vision, but still. Also, they are gonna want to have a response to the mpc live. I know a lot of people will be selling an elektron box to fund that purchase.

I have a strong feeling that Elektron is a granular fx processor which I have no interest in now. Pay close attention because in 5 days its going to be the only thing I want in the universe. Seriously, fuck those guys.

I would imagine TE are more interested in selling the existing customers who have all the PO's another one....

wonder if they're really only unveiling the one

NAMM doesn't start until tomorrow so maybe they are just getting people interested?? Previous PO releases have been in threes so I reckon there will be others. Definitely a sampler...... :)

Yes! I just want interesting sounds coming out of boring-looking boxes. Barebones interfaces that look like some computer from the 60s inspire me a lot.

Um... that pocket operator is dope as heck. As long as they are throwing such a beefy drum synth in that thing, it would have been cool to add some MIDI, but no good deed unpunished, etc. Looks like a damn good time to me and it doesn't seem to step on the other POs' toes.

Also this. Not going to lie, part of the reason I have a bit of volca sample lust is it has roughly the same drab colors of Akai's golden era.
