edit: The ABC/WaPo poll has Trump leading by 2 and the NBC/WSJ has Clington leading by 3, I guess.

^^^ beyond that, one of the reasons trump is gaining support is because he's seen as the anti-establishment candidate. clinton is seen as the status quo and thus she's losing independent voters as well as bernie supporters, so as november draws closer, trump actually gets a bigger lead in the polls.

 

the fact that clinton once had over 60% lead over any GOP candidate is a complete and utter disaster for her (would love to see clooney's face right about now). there is absolutely no way she can beat trump now unless she either gets bernie as a vp or steps down.

Anyways can only see Clinton pulling away. GOP has already consolidated around trump, Bernie supporters who aren't hardcore will either hold their noses and vote for the lesser evil or not show up. from that NBC link: "66 percent of Democratic primary voters preferring Sanders support Clinton in a matchup against Trump." Yes the context is that it's a smaller percentage than Clinton supporters who would vote for Bernie, but it's still a lot of potential voters to move.

 

What's really telling is just how disliked the two presumptuous candidates are among registered voters. 54% dislike Clinton, 58% dislike Trump.

I think a lot of women wear them to ensure their ideas are taken seriously and people don't just focus on their looks. But yeah it is a look, and I think it's particularly attractive on the one in the middle.
