Now That Trump's President... (not any more!)

I think if Trump wins you'll see exactly what happened for the month after George Floyd, lots of mostly peaceful protests and some violence instigated by general hooligans on both sides.

I think if Trump loses, what we'll see depends on how badly he loses.  If there's no doubt he lost, I am hoping there will only be isolated pockets of violence, probably in battleground states, that will die down quickly.

If it's close and Trump loses, holy shit, I think there will be an endless cacophony of shit in the media and in the streets.

If Trump does lose, I am expecting some sort of shenanigans at Biden's inauguration when Trump has to literally and figuratively hand over power.

either way win or lose, we're fucked here. chance of violence this week is 100%. he's not going to stop campaigning even if he loses, and will continue to incite his base into doing who knows what. like usual, he probably won't spell it out, but will make vague hints at things that his base will interpret as they see fit.

Sad thing is that Trump is a leftist within his own party. His manners and rhetoric suggest otherwise but others of his party would, in the end, probably be worse than him while having a more tactful rhetoric and have gotten rid of pension plans and other social politics all together, a wet dream of the Republican Party. Trump didn't do it mostly because of the incompetence of his administration. Now imagine a Republican (or a Republican in Democrat disguise) in office, who is a thinking man and not just a propaganda spitting machine. A thinking far-right man in office could have led the world to the verge of total erasement (as far as organised humanity goes). Trump "only" managed to ruin the political culture of the US while putting a couple of kids into cages and threatening millions to take away their healthcare plans, which is bad enough but if he had some more creativeness and intelligence, he could have done a lot of even worse things.

He has creativeness and a certain kind of intelligence, but they're ALWAYS directed at enhancing his own "brand".  IMO it's not that he doesn't have those things, he just doesn't have the capacity or will to focus his energy on anything other than himself which I think is why Republicans (I declare them the party of selfishness) identify with him so much.

Win or lose I hope trump falls down the stairs while deplaning air force one.

the concerning scenarios are centered around neither being a clear winner. the fbi has released a warning that we should expect foreign disinformation interference to the effect of a PERCEPTION HACK, possibly focused on the IDEA of an ELECTION HACK. trump has said that if he loses then it's rigged. he said the votes shouldn't be counted after election day, though there are millions of mail ballots in many states, and many states have laws preventing counting UNTIL election day. and, in every single election, vote counting goes beyond election day. he said he considers the democrats to have attempted a coup on him, and he said that in response to a question of whether he will concede. 

he provoked unrest, he fed the false ideologies that fueled things like the el paso mass shooting and the guy living in a van who mailed bombs to obama and others. he created the environment that led to an attempted kidnapping of the michigan governor, and then immediately continued the exact same rhetoric against the michigan governor a day later. and he spoke up for kyle rittenhouse, after he trekked to wisconsin to shoot people. he overtly wields influence over AG barr. he says the guys crashing their trucks into biden caravans are good guys who didn't do anything wrong, influencing the fbi investigation into it.

he has been misleading people about mail ballots. every single day he makes a point to spread the message, despite it being harmful misinformation that twitter had to flag, it was so egregious. he's been laying those seeds every day for months, especially in swing states. the mail ballots are seeing significant late deliveries, meaning we may see large numbers not arrive by election day. the partisan difference in early voting vs day-of means that some states will see blue mirages, but many will see red mirages, on election day, depending on whether mail ballots were allowed to begin getting counted early.

and, he, in a perfectly bizarre way, allowed covid to spread, so that the country is thoroughly seeded with it, now. more than half of the deaths only happened because trump decided to go that way. he already has blood on his hands, and i've found it very strange, this whole time.

people should be ready to act very responsibly. and that means not violently.

Yeah not to say Biden doesn't stand a chance still, but Super Tuesday was a major cock block this year for Team Dem. The fact that the voting gap is still as narrow as it is between either side given the circumstances is unfortunate.

Aren’t the current polls suggesting a double digit lead Biden over drumpf? About double the estimate for Hillary in 2016.

the polls are similar in places but not exactly the same. there are plenty of differences though. 

anyway.. the trump mob of CHUDS are roaming around the country in different places instigating shit and trying to draw people in to confrontations. i hope that they get too drunk to leave home tomorrow or something.  the trump train car caravans are idiotic.

national polling can be misleading, because of the electoral college. the republicans have only won the popular vote once in the last 30 years, in presidential elections. what matters is florida, pennsylvania, who knows where they've been secretly engineering opinions, strategically. in 2016 no one expected wisconsin or michigan to go red. 

but yeah polling in swing states shows biden ahead in PA, close in FL, with a lead in MI and WI, favored for AZ and NV, and with a shot in OH and even TX, NC, and GA.
