The thing is with Autechre... just when you think you've figured them out - BAM - they release something and you're back to scratching (and nodding) your head...

They should make a pro-Trump, Brexit, Le Pen etc record and everybody's like "fuck Ae" and "well, perhaps i was a bit too enthusiastic towards them..."

I don't know, but whatever it is Alex Rutterford should do the album art

Max doesn't have 'a sound' you silly goose, it's a tool that lets you build anything from the ground up. It's like saying you don't like books typed in Microsoft Word

To be fair, I expect that the average book typed in Microsoft Word is very different from the average book typed in, say, TeXnicCenter. I imagine the same is true w.r.t. Max.

Okey so you can program max/msp to sound like a Minimoog - 100% pure analog.

Possibly, or (and much easier!) use Max to control a Minimoog or Minimoog VST
