They're probably just nice guys working against speculation

First listen nothing was memorable at all. Forced myself more repeat listens and it came together. It's really nice but also kind of simple. At first it seemed haphazard and felt like he was trying to catch some OPN hype by being more random but once you start to hear what's going on everything is very simple and standard. Still don't see any point of the very last bit of Peak Magnetic that just reeks of trying to keep up with the new gaurd. Apart from that it's still very much Clark and pretty wicked.

 

I hope to god that electronic artists don't try to stay relevant by copying newer artists like what happened in Metal haha

I thought you meant the second to last bit and i was heartbroken cause that's one of my favorite parts on the entire album lol. I agree though, that erratic twiddle at the very end is like eating the most divine burger but getting a piece of gristle in the last bite

Living Fantasy is pretty great. Reminds me of Phillip Glass in a good way.

i like this album better than the last two i will be honest

The album is real good. Sounds like a Clark, OPN, and Tim Hecker collaboration. Not complaining.

I love this album but that video is pretty boring. Not sure the point of it, other than that little unreleased bit.

that first track is pretty good.

That's a pretty cool video overall, but I still stand by what I said regarding stages and stuff. I like to see shit like this in a video at home, when I have some spare time, but when I go out to listen to killer tunes like this, I want to dance and not stare at a dude on a stage. 

 

Oh, and this album still fucking slays. I've listened to it at least 50 times, and I've spun it for friends and at BYOV events, and everyone loved it. 

Yeah on second watch/a large tv and surround speakers, i like it more. For example i didn't notice that the beginning is a re appropriated Catastrophe Anthem, the chords sound like they were arranged differently it's cool. Also realized why that Butterfly banger sounds so familiar lol. Then that second banger jam he does ??? V nice

Just saw his show in portland. It was incredible. Definitely worth going to.

No,Com Truise headlined. I didn't watch his full set. Clark had a nice and long set though, sounded amazing. He didn't have his dancers with him though. I guess that was Europe tour only?

Side C makes this an incredible album. Not sure what I'd think without those two tracks though...
